Disease Alert System

The Disease Alert System is a national public warning system utilized to deliver important emergency information, regarding diseases and its spread along with AMBER alerts to outbreaks and potential outbreaks to the nearby individuals through a cellphone notification.

The Disease Alert System and Germ Reduction Program(GRP) work collaboratively to maintain the Disease Alert System and Mobile Emergency Alerts, which are the two main components of the public warning system. All the created alerts are transmitted through the system.

The majority of Disease Alert System alerts originate from the dependable sources of initial responders of outbreaks and the spread of diseases in a community, state, national and international degree.
